As with all emergencies in life, you never need a computer expert until you need one - and when you do, you really need one.

When I was halfway through some urgent work with an immovable deadline looming, my system died on me. Although I use an online backup service for all of my data, this isn't the answer if your computer is not functioning, so my panic levels were rising rapidly.

However, one phone call to Michael, and a quiet and reassuring phone call, followed by a response that is normally only bettered by firemen on a pole, and Michael was onsite and working on the problem.

He analysed the problem correctly and fitted replacement parts, reconnected my wireless network and advised me on additional measures to prevent this happening again.

So, now I also have a stand alone hard disc which purrs away in the background to give reassurance.

I can highly commend Michael's services and suggest that anyone with a computer asks for an hour of his time in order to get pre-emptive advice on making their system resilient.
